General Details about GENCO Holding Company Limited (GHCL)
GENCO Holding Company Limited (GHCL) is largely responsible for directing the management and operation of GENCOs in order to improve corporate management, strengthen financial control, and plan for the future. As a result, the company is on the lookout for a qualified applicant for the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• During the tenure of the assignment, the Chief Executive Officer will report to the Board of Directors (GHCL) and the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), and will collaborate closely with the Board of Directors in the development of a strategic plan to advance the Company’s mission and objectives, promote transparency, and increase revenue. To be considered for this position, the candidate must have leadership abilities, have management and team building experience, and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate must be able to work as a team player in order to cultivate an environment of opportunity for the most optimal creative practises possible, which will result in an organization that operates at peak efficiency.
• The candidate must demonstrate his or her willingness to be a change agent by submitting quarterly to the Ministry of Energy successes and timetables provided by the Ministry or the government (Power Division).
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND AGE ARE ALL IMPORTANT
It is necessary to retain the services of a professional of Pakistani nationality who possesses solid academic qualifications as well as extensive experience working for large organisations or groups of enterprises.
At least 20 years of relevant experience in GENCO Holding Company Limited (GHCL) jobs 2022, including at least 10 years working in the power sector / power generation companies in the public or private sector, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in senior management roles, is required of the candidate.
The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, management accounting, economics, or finance, as well as a master’s degree in engineering, business, public administration, management, economics, or finance, or be a Fellow of the Institute of Cost and Management or a Certified Public Accountant to apply for the post of company secretary in GENCO Holding Company Limited (GHCL).
The candidate’s age cannot be greater than 60 years old at the time of the advertisement. REMUNERATIONS Negotiable market-based compensation, including perks and privileges, but not less than the MP Scale minimum (Hiring shall not be under MP Scale policy, MP-I scale mentioned above is for indicative purpose only).
TENURE
According to the terms of the contract, the initial term will be three (3) years, with the option to renew for another equivalent duration based on performance.

ii. A declaration on Rs. 100/- non-judicial stamp paper in the format prescribed in Annexure-B (available on the above-mentioned websites) to the Public Sector Companies (Appointment of Chief Executive Officer) Guidelines, 2015 that the applicant is not ineligible to act as a Chief Executive Officer in accordance with the Fit and Proper Criteria prescribed in Schedule Il of the said Guidelines.
iii. Certified copies of degrees and diplomas that have been attested.
iv. The following are required: two recent passport-sized pictures, a photocopy of your CNIC or passport, at least two references, and work experience certificates
NOTE:
