Establishment of Ministry of Energy
The Ministry of Energy was established August 4, 2017. It includes multiple organizations like Natural Resources of Pakistan, Ministry of Petroleum along with Ministry of power and water. The Petroleum Division is headed by the Petroleum Secretary and the Power Division is headed by the Power Secretary. It is currently headed by Hammad Azhar as of 17 April 2021.
